No-Cost Extension (NCE) Awarded to the REC

The ONC recently granted a no-cost extension (NCE) award to the Regional Extension Center (REC). This extension allows statewide agents and the REC to continue assisting providers with the adoption of EHR technology and the achievement of Meaningful Use. This award is particularly helpful for providers who are still struggling with Meaningful Use requirements, or are at risk of receiving payment adjustment penalties in 2015.
