On June 17, NYeC submitted comments to CMS on the FY 2023 Inpatient Prospective Payment System Proposed Rule. Our comments focus on three areas: the Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program, Advancing the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA), and Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Diagnosis Codes. NYeC is committed to a continued partnership with CMS and recommends that CMS continue to leverage HIE infrastructure in FY 2023 and for years to come, to enable secure, meaningful, and scalable data sharing across all sectors of care.
