The Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY) has been the go-to solution for supporting clinicians across the care continuum with real-time patient health data at the point of care. The COVID-19 pandemic made clear that the SHIN-NY, in support of public health infrastructure and health equity, must continue to evolve its services to best meet the needs of healthcare patients and providers in New York State.
On April 5, 2023, NYeC hosted the SHIN-NY’s Impact on Public Health webinar. In the webinar, speakers Christie Doria, Senior Program Manager, and Sara Haddon, Clinical Informatics Manager, discussed how the SHIN-NY is expanding services to impact public health by providing the real-time information that is necessary to affect tangible change in New York State.
