On Wednesday, November 1st, 250 top thought leaders in New York’s healthcare ecosystem attended our 2017 Gala & Awards at the Edison Ballroom.

Hosted by NYeC’s Board of Directors, the Gala & Awards serves to recognize and honor the achievements of those improving healthcare through technology. We were thrilled to recognize the invaluable contributions of our five honorees. This year, David Blumenthal, MD, President of The Commonwealth Fund received the Transformative Leadership Award. Additionally, NYeC honored:

  • Eugene Heslin, MD, First Deputy Commissioner of the New York State Department of Health
  • Paul Macielak, Esq., President and Chief Executive Officer of the New York Health Plan Association
  • Patrick Roohan, Vice President of Data Management and Analytics Solutions of MVP Health Care; Former Director of the Office of Quality and Patient Safety of the New York State Department of Health
  • James Tallon, Jr., President Emeritus, United Hospital Fund
